SPPF Malaysia recently launched its next-generation, Japanese-engineered spray-on paint protection system at AutoDetailer Studio in Petaling Jaya. This technology moves away from traditional film applications, introducing a seamless, chemical-bonding approach to vehicle preservation.

Paintwork Fusion Bonding: A sprayed-on application that creates an adhesive-free, seamless layer directly on the vehicle surface. It allows for customizable thickness and maintains total conformity to complex vehicle contours.

Renewable Surface Engineering: The upper layers are designed for restoration. Professional refinement can remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation, reviving the finish without depleting the underlying protective structure.

Infinite Layer Technology: A philosophy that allows for the application of additional layers over the existing system. This enables progressive reinforcement of protection or visual depth without the need for material replacement.

Advanced Colour Engineering
One of the more specialized aspects of the SPPF system is its ability to integrate authentic automotive manufacturer (OEM) paint within its architecture.

OEM Integration: Authentic paint systems, such as Porsche’s BASF or Ferrari’s PPG formulations, can be applied between protective layers.

Bespoke Finishes: This allows for specific racing colors or manufacturer-specific shades to be embedded within a protective structure, ensuring they are preserved for the long term.
Digital Identity and Verification
Beginning in the second half of 2026, the company will introduce the SPPF.co App to digitize the service history of treated vehicles.

Authentication: Each vehicle is assigned a secure digital identity, allowing owners to verify the originality of the installation.

Transparency: The app provides a verifiable record of every protective layer, renewal, and refinement service performed over the life of the vehicle.

According to Darren Chang, Technical Director of SPPF, the technology is only applied by technicians trained under strict Japanese protocols. This ensures consistency and clarity tailored to each specific vehicle. The launch partner, AutoDetailer Studio, provides the infrastructure for these applications within its 16,000-square-foot facility.
