Koenigsegg Presents the One-Off Hundra, and it’s Coming to Malaysia?

Since Lamborghini’s Veneno and Ferrari’s LaFerrari already stole the spotlight in this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Koenigsegg’s new machine might have been overshadowed by those two V12 beasts. But nevertheless, this new model from the Swedish supercar manufacturer marks a very special milestone for them as it is the 100th car to have rolled out from Koenigsegg’s production lines.

Called the Hundra or “100” in Swedish, this one-off car is a special edition of the Agera S. But while there are no major performance tweaks done for this special model as it still has the twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 1030-horsepower found in the Agera family, it is the exterior that makes this car one-of-a-kind.

Bearing one of Koenigsegg’s signature looks, the Hundra features an exposed carbon fiber body, but with the addition of inlays made from 24-carat gold. And one could find streaks of this precious material from the front of the car all the way to the rear, which includes the coil springs, rear deck struts and exhausts. The gold bodywork was hand-laid by an Italian artist with very little addition of weight to the car.

Since this is a one-off model, the chance of seeing the Hundra on our soil was never even close to 1-percent, or is it? According to multiple sources, this special Koenigsegg costs USD 1.6 million (RM 4.97 million) and is destined to a car collector in Malaysia! We had yet to ascertain the veracity of this statement as some are saying that it is heading to Hong Kong, but who knows? We have the CCXR Edition here, so it might be possible anyhow.

UPDATE: We got in touch directly with Koenigsegg to clear the air on this matter, and it seems that the Hundra will not be heading here after all. It will instead be heading to Hong Kong.
