As with most Italian big bikes, they’re pushed to consumers in a way that’s seen as exotic, mechanically appealing and so evocative that it almost seems to reach so deep into a rider’s soul that it not only eclipses the mind and its sense of sensibility, it even blind-sides the mind’s cognitive resolve to “just say no”. Admittedly, we can’t seem to find a way to do so as well, what with traction control, Öhlins Electronic Suspension, Ride-by-Wire and more!

The company from Varese, Italy isn’t revealing any more than what they’ve currently infused the upcoming F4 with, but this much seems certain with the F4 coming in three confirmed guises: MV Agusta F4, MV Agusta F4 R, & MV Agusta F4 RR.
And for 2013, the F4 is getting some tastey upgrades, such as Brembo M50 monobloc brakes, Öhlins electronically controlled suspension, ride-by-wire throttle control, and the MV Agusta MVICS electronics package with an 8-way adjustable traction control and a cool new set of DRLs (Day-light-Running Lights).
There’s no word on specs just yet, but it seems that one of the three versions of the 2014 MV Agusta F4 will have titanium con-rods and a redesigned crankshaft with an expected power upgrade that hopefully will be in the 200+bhp realm. Now hows that for “Motorcycle Art”!
