Jaguar XKR-S – So Good You Can Drift it…BLINDFOLDED!

So you’ve gotten yourself a Jaguar XKR-S, and as hard as it is to find a secluded location to apply some of your new-found skills in side-ways motion, there comes a time when you find yourself in a situation where the tarmac’s wet and plenty of room to loose traction.

Though there’s plenty of people willing to try their hand at track driving, there’s fewer who look to drifting and there’s almost no one who’d drift blindfolded especially with a luxury sportscar such as the supercharged Jaguar XKR-S and it’s 5.0L V8 churning out 542bhp from 6,000-6,500rpm and 680Nm of torque from 2,500-5,500rpm via 6-speed automatic transmission, while weighing in at 1,753kg.

However, in this case, there’s no secluded area to have some fun, but a rather nicely rain-soaked skid-pad that’ll allow you to practice your doughnuts, and yes there’s still someone taking the Jag around blindfolded as well.

In a wet condition, traction is or should always be a major concern, and as such any car will drift in such damp conditions – be it accidental or on purpose, but the main point here is all about how controllable the car will be when that happens.
