The high priests of American automobiles, the AC Cobra and Corvette ZR1 demand respect and mass admiration not only because of their unique looks but because of their ability to slaughter established supercars. In the video above, Autocar UK pits these two heavyweights against each other to find out which is best. The result is… well… shocking.

The AC Cobra may not be the genuine article. There are a lot of AC Cobra replica kit cars for sale in US and UK.

No hating on the Cobra but I can definitely hate on the ZR1 Driver for his not so up to "standard pars" driving..
I'm playing the number by the book game here but come on.
ZR1 0-60 eta 3.3 (low 3s) Top speed 205
AC Cobra 0-60 4.7 (mid 4s) Top speed 163
I'll give respect to the car for its time but come on.. seriously? I know power to weight ratio doesn't mess with 0-60 times..
