Ferrari and Fiat Collaborate To Create The Limited Edition 695 Tributo Ferrari

The Fiat 500 is undeniably one of the most fashionable and according to some auto-journo’s, fun small hatch there is available today. The 500 Abarth won many hearts, and now the all-Italian love story continues with a proverbial match made in heaven that could already have people swooning the world over.

Ferrari and Fiat’s well known performance division Abarth have partnered for a limited edition series based on the Fiat 500 – it’s to be called the 695 Tributo Ferrari. According to a rumour that’s going around, Fiat will pull the covers off this not-so-secret-anymore limited edition model at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

The car will redefine the small hot hatch segment. For one, it will come in the very exclusive traditional Ferrari colour of Scuderia Red.

To match the colour, performance will be boosted (pun intended) by dialing up the 1.4-liter turbocharged engine up to 180hp and mate that to a F1-style 6-speed transmission with paddle-shift function. Predictably, the suspension will also be tuned to compliment the increase in power and a set of Brembo brakes will be contracted to supply the stopping power and to look good behind the 17-inch alloy wheel – referencing classic Ferrari design.

To continue the Ferrari-feel, the interior gets carbon-fiber seats dressed in black leather while the steering wheel trim comes with red inserts.

More details on the 695 Tributo Ferrari next week.

The normal white Abarth was already a fantastic car. This one is even better! Ignore the fact that Fiat owns Ferrari and they could misuse the Ferrari branding anytime they like.

whoever is designing ferraris these days should be put in jail and locked up for all the grosse looking cars that they came out with these past few yrs?
If the darn dealers and the stupid auctions dont quit driving the silly prices up then people wont buy them no more
and then ferrari will have to lower thier prices and rethink thier way of selling cars,
Id take a tornado GT-40 Replica and an older LP 400 countach for what you can get an ugly 360, or 599 for,
the last , and I mean THE LAST FERRARI THAT WAS NICE LOOKING WAS THE BB AND THE DAYTONA,
Scrape off anything newer than that,
and this ad i saw for this little dino 246 spyder for 198,000 was for people that are brain dead and have no sense if they were alive,
dinos rust they get eaten from a 73 911 S,and anyone that spends that kind of money on something that was only 14,500 in the 1st place should be put in a mental hospital,
