Its Christmas again and it’s that time of the year where everybody sits at home, eats great food, has fun with the family, go to sleep and wait for santa to deliver. Ever wonder how the jolly old man in red makes it to all those houses delivering gifts for being good that year? Do you really believe the aged Rudolph the Reindeer can last throughout Santa’s magnificent journey around the planet? This is how a few automakers think he does it.
CAR magazine UK went to Bentley, Rolls Royce, Nissan and Ford and asked them to design Santa’s sled, and this is what the designers from each maker came up with: The Bentley is a personal favourite with its cool, sleek modern design appropriate for a grand old man in his hundreds. The Rolls (below) perfectly fits the bill if Santa plans to take those yearly trips round the planet in utmost comfort, silence and still retain Rudolph and his mate’s services. The Ford – if they fold, who’s going to service and maintain the only Ford sled in existence? And the Nissan – only when Santa’s late, very late. So what do you think? Which one should Santa ride in?
