The Zele GTR Cult

6b8b0366While most people dream about owning the R35 GTR, some are contented enough owning a 1:18th scaled down Tamiya for the moment. GTRBlog‘s Kris rushed out to buy the recently launched Tamiya R35 GTR kit with the intention of replicating Zele Harrison’s Orange GTR.

Next up, another replica by Kazu from Japan.

its not 1:18 scale, its 1:24 scale. If it were 1:18 scale, it'd looked much better than that with the bodyparts looked tougher and muscular.

and no, the engine bay isn't that spacious as these tamiya's model car. The engine is quite small as compared to the engine bay space. I think they purposely did that so the assembler can fit the engine in. Its a Tamiya, you need to assemble it.

Like the first guy did, he cut out the front bumper to resembles Zele's GTR front bumper which to me, don't quite look similar. :P

The 2nd guy, he removed the OEM wing and replaced it with a CF wing which to me it does looks good. :D
