The GTR saga continues, the guys over at Road & Track magazine have got their hands on the specifications on the highly anticipated Nissan GTR V-Spec and they have spilled the beans. Figures stand at 520 hp @ 6500 rpm, 440 lb.-ft. of torque all the way from 3200–5200 rpm, 1640kg, and earlier reports have confirmed that it laps the ‘Ring quicker than 7:25, that’s faster than a Porsche 997 GT2.
It took the removal of the rear seats and plenty of other stuff and a bit of carbon-fiberication here and there to loose 100kgs. It will cost twice as much as the base GTR when it is officially revealed early next year, expect it to reach here by mid 2009, not officially though, that’s not going to happen for a while.
