The arrival of the much anticipated Nissan GTR V-Spec has been delayed. Japan’s BestCar magazine reports that the GTR V-Spec’s expected launch at the 3rd quarter of this year has been put off till the end of this year or early 09. No reasons were given but on the bright side, Nissan will be releasing an Evolution or S-Tune version fitted with a number of parts developed by NISMO and used by them in the race-spec GTR that competed in the Tokachi 24-hour endurance race.
The launch of the Evolution or S-Tune model coincides with the launch of NISMO’s line of go-fast parts during the final weeks of this month. Some of the NISMO parts used in the car will include a suspension upgrade, new aerodynamic parts, wheels and tyres, a new exhaust system as well as revised ECU.
