All New 2nd Generation Toyota Alphard to Be Unveiled Today

According to automotive world.com, Toyota could announce the arrival of the all new Toyota Alphard today, 12th May 2008. No details are available yet, but one thing is for sure though, from a Transformers point of view, the first generation Alphard would be an Autobot and this second generation, clearly a decepticon. The second gen Alphard is said to be based on the Toyota FT-MV showcased at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show. The Alphard will have to battle it out with other great like the Mazda MPV, Honda Elysion, and Nissan Elgrand.

Wow! That's nice. Soon there will be facelift kits flooding the market like Estima's kit.

darn...i've always wanted an alphard wit my very own driver...before i can even own the previous they came out wit a new alphard...n this is alphard looks bad...not that ugly type of bad...it's a mean machine...i will prefer this decepticon than autobot...only design of the car changed? how bout the performance? we'll be waiting for a more detailed report on the specs....

That's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Not quite as ugly as the previous model, but still. What is going on in the world? There seems to have been a competition between car manufacturers to see who can build the ugliest car recently. And judging by the number on the roads in Hong Kong, people actually buy them. What the hell is that about?
