wow!!! so hot la this thread...anyway better cool down..both people...especially wandzul and hanjackel better rilex lor...ok,i worked as an IT system support specialist at flextronics company...so dont try to BullSH*t wit me coz i know bout IT...maybe wandzul has a point..the system is a little bit outdated...but hey,there's always a new tech everyday...so system today is always gonna be outdated tomorrow..but hanjackel system is not bad coz u got a whole set of PC with LCD monitor just need to replace the HD ....wit 1.5k its a fair buy if the component is in super good condition....cheersss!!!

fair buy? no way.. u see.. no speaker, no soundcard.. need to replace HDD somemore.. after u buy those items will total almost rm2k already (soundcard-soundblaster 4.1 cokia punya-rm50, 80GB HDD-rm200, altec lansing 2.1-rm230, approx. )

with rm2k u can get almost complete socket 775 system (Pentium dual core proc, 16x PCI-E graphic bus, DDR2, way better spec, all NEW) thats why i said that the price should be lower.. moreover its a used system, aged around 3-4 years old.. (i noticed this in his other older thread dated 18 Dec 2006, stating that he bought the system in 2003) therefore got no more warranty for the parts..

the points are,

(1) this system should cost at lower price tag..
(2) this person is not really honest with all of u..
(3) and he still dont go oversea yet!!! LOL

u can compare the specs from the older thread which i attached here, with the spec he posted on page 1..

Changes:
-processor model
-motherboard model
-no soundcard
-graphic card model
-monitor

the prices differ too

i dunno whether he has replaced the parts or hiding something here.. but it does sound fishy..

so HanJackaL, i think all of us need ur explanation regarding this matter..

I know his prices are crap! For god's sake the mother board only is worth about 400 and i did not dis his sale! respect lah... he'll probably never be able to sell it!

this thread is more about debate than a selling thread...ok,wanzul ur right..the price is high based on the spec,and thanks for ur information and no offense to hanjackal but u gotta accept some critics coz before this u tried to sell ur civic...and when people start to criticize bout ur civic, u start f lamming other people...u really sure have a big ego in u...but to be true the civic was a good price..

Wow, this is one heck of a thread. Full of names-calling, some elements of racism, lots of fairy tales and an elusive seller. All the markings of a great epic.

On a serious note, perhaps the seller thinks that his system is worth that much so he's got a right to demand for whatever figures that he deems fit; although flaming ppl who comments with the intention of sharing knowledge seems to show that he's TOO defensive.

And kudos to wandzul who really did some investigative works and can prove his point!

The seller owns the equipment and it is his right to demand whatever price he deems right. As for the potential buyer, s/he can either buy or dont buy. For me who has no intention to buy but interested to know, i read and move to the next thread.
i dont know much about PC but I do know that I wouldnt be happy if my thread went on like this. No point calling each other names. Most of the time we come in for some reading pleasure. So why not keep it that way?

Well said guys. Its my right to choose what price i want to sell it for, and since i spent so much building it, i dont think i want to sell it for only a few hundred bucks.

You can barely buy a few brand new parts for RM1500 so i think my price is quite fair considering its still a decent performing computer that gives no problems and can play all games.
