Earlier this year Honda announced that it was suspending the development of several next-generation vehicles, including the 2010 NSX and the CR-Z convertible, but today Honda has now officially announced the end of the S2000 after a 10 year production run. Initially built as a limited-edition vehicle to celebrate Honda’s 50th anniversary, the car was not initially meant to have a long production run and remained close to the original release, selling in excess of 110,673 units worldwide! Over the last 10 years the S2000 became an icon for car modification enthusiasts and is considered a classic by many Honda fans. This is probably part of the reason why Honda decided to mark the end of the S2000 with a new derivative, the S2000 Ultimate Edition!
My car is the original 1st 1000 batch of limited edition. It was brought in in 2000!
So I hope that will answers some of the idiotic statements!
