I changed the stock gearbox to 1.3 clutch pump gearbox (F5M211 VRAJ) as syn from stock gearbox need to replace; which is cost me RM880. After run in the new gearbox, notice that RPM reading is slightly low when run at 100km/h.
Stock is close to 3000++rpm while 1.3 gearbox is show at +/-2800rpm.
Is it because of speed sensor from gearbox is different?
Please advise.. Thx.
the gear ratios are different.

Just would like to know that what is the RPM reading on the 5th gear when hit 100km/h on the stock gearbox.
Btw, besides 1st gear (3.356vs 3.083), is local Wira/Satria 1.3, 1.5 have same ratio with Putra stock gearbox?
Please advise... Thx
Dude, 1.3 GB are short ratio. Good for acceleration but poor cruising RPM. 1.5 is average. Why didn't you use back the 4G93 parts? 1.8 has relatively tall ratios so cruising at 100km/h shouldn't be more than 2.5 to 3k rpm only.

my friend 4g93 using 1.5 gearbox highway cruising cannot tahan already coz rpm to high..fuel consumption too high but ur smaller cc gearbox giving u lower rpm that a magic..are u sure ur car using 4g93..

It was only yesterday night that I saw one Myvi with large rims low profile tyres. I went and have a look and saw 205/40/R17 there on Hankook tyres.

They got money to waste on petrol ma. Also is stressing other parts for having to huge rims and tyres right?

On petrol then yes. More contact surface, heavier tyres and rims.
But stress on other parts depends whether they like fitted rims with too much offset will stress the bearings, but if fit correct offset should not be a problem. Using 205/40R17 is correct up size. Bigger by 2.18% only, so still within the 3% ruling...:driver:

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

When I touched the evaporator box, I found it icy-cold and a little wet. There is small droplets on my car mat. It is not seriously dripping. There seems to be a conflicting views about this. Some say it is NORMAL to have a little droplet during the hot days. Then there those who say all the cold water from the coil should gathered INSIDE the evaporator box. It should drain out of the car via the drain pipe. If there is any water leaking inside the car, either the drain is blocked or there...
