Sorry bro, you've misunderstood but it's my fault. I meant to quote Rock Lee because he said FB is banned in China. The comment I made about the Govt banning the local version of American Idol is in China and was done by the Chinese Govt; not Malaysia.

My bad.
alamak then in response to this my reply looks dam dumb :banghead: lol

cant really fault China...they were ex communist and its hard to change. same goes for our gomen. they're so used to the current way of policing and governing that its hard to change. at least over here, we have a chance to change(by voting!)...there, they most prolly wont have a chance anytime in the near future.

at least things arent that bad here...in China they have black prisons...read up n see...

Well, as a socialist country there isn't much difference in how the Government functions as opposed to a Communist government. The main differences lie in the management of the economy and how capitalism can be integrated. But all else such as lack of democratic right to vote remains the same regardless.

i cant agree with this coz democracy is not in full effect in our country there is still a lot of corruption and shadow voters when it comes to election time
therefore i believe that the government doesnt reflect the majority of the people but only a smaller share
so it is unfair to make it sound like the majority of us are supporting all our goverments actions
just an opinion

We agree to disagree which is a good thing. Democracy is not in full effect - I am with you on this one.

I wont go into granular details but without a majority(perceived or otherwise) the present gomen wont be in power. Is there such a thing as Minority Rule?

Whether the present majority is gathered through legitimate means or tarnished by RM$$ and helped by the EC with their dirty zoning is another matter but the "majority" rules.

yeah in that sense i tink we both can agree that when they say Malaysia practices democracy we can safely say BULLLSHITTT!!!
but then again even if democracy is in effect im not guaranteeing that BN would not win they still mite win but they will definitely run this country much more efficiently in order to keep their posts at the next election
thats the whole idea of democracy

well, people who can't keep up and then start screaming for handicaps often end up this way... they will ask to ban this and ban that because it is easier for them so they don't have to "think" of how to overcome their own shortcomings.

facebook, blogs and twitter is just a tool. people who don't know how to use a tool would of course look extremely stupid for asking it to be banned.

imagine you dunno how to use a hammer during kemahiran hidup class. then u ask the teacher to ban everyone from using hammer. :adore::adore::adore:

on p2p causing the entertainment industry big losses, companies are already trying to adapt because consumer is moving towards that trend.

if that KRU fella thinks that banning p2p will help his album sales in this digital era, then he is too simple-minded, naive and backward thinking.

STRAIGHT next day there will be a proposal to ban use of hammers in KH class or perhaps even KH class itself :stupid:
