Still not solved yet my brakes problem...

First I changed new rotor disc on both sides as the old discs are found to be worn unevenly...

The disc got ups and downs of slopes in the centre...

As the pads are still surprisingly thick, I didnt change it, moreover it was Bosch brand so I left it as
it was.

Was very confident it was the disc problem, however after testing it, my brakes still imbalance, became worse.

Second day went back to the workshop again...

This time I changed new brake pads...

Upon changing my mechanic pointed out that my brake pads are crooked, and bent!

Can anyone tell me why the pads are bent on one side of the brake?

Same time I do bleeding and flushed the Dot 4 brake fluid.

Hope my problem will be solved!:rofl::confused::adore:

Bro. Les,
The pads follow the shape of the disc. If disc is crooked so will the pads. When reading your post I was about to ask whether you sand your pads flat before fitting to your new disc, but since now you have changed all the better.

Finally my problem is solved!

Things that I done are...

1) Changed new rotor disc

2) Changed new brake pads

3) Brake fliud bleeding and replaced new brake fluid

4) Serviced the piston calipers, using high performace white grease.

5) Computer resetting of all 4 brake system.

Hope anyone with brake imbalance problem in future can refer to the above!

Thanks to all whom participated!:itsme::wavey::biggrin:

If the piston, then must be rubber grease. If it is the pins then high temperature grease is better...

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

hello all,

i got the GAB SS series adjustables for my vios. so, i will be spending time tweaking it! however, some queries below:

1. my front spring rate is 6kg and my rear is 4kg. with my damping set to hard, the car is bumpy, but in corners, slight body roll is noted. should i up my spring rate to further reduce body roll, or is slight roll acceptable? I have thought of installing anti-roll bar to the rear, but was advised not to do so as it may distort the suspension from doing its...
