they (toyota malaysia) will only manufacture (fast selling) automobiles in Malaysia.
so allex or runx & others will still be brought in as CBU models.

20 years of protection & we still havent figure out their intentions??
proton & ALL car manufacurers WILL (ever) not sell their cars lower then we hope them to be.

maybe they use japanese vendors n those good vendors that work woth perodua n global vendors..........then cheaper parts......lower costs.........IMO...

To set up factory in Malaysia = reduce cost, cost reduced = material reduced, selling price same as CBU even CKD = safety reduced and standard same with Proton. So this mean we pay rm100k for a piece of engine with Proton body. Global trend : minimum cost maximum profit.
