UPDATE...

SSO 2 dot 5 dates are finalised, see the dates below. It might seem a little funny to have drifting on a weekday and at night, but that's the only way at the moment that we can make the best of the 1 Utama New Wing open air carpark.. And face it, this has got to be the best venue so far in the history of SSO!

Registration on 30 June is also, for the moment, postponed to the weekend, being 4 June 2005 at 10am, same venue as always.

OPEN DRIFTING
Date: 21 June 2005
Time: 730pm till 10pm
Venue: 1 Utama Carpark
Entry Fee: RM 50.00 limited to RWD rides only.
Sign-up manually this weekend at Sunway Extreme Park.
Aim of this event is to:
1) provide additional practise for the "Big Boys" who are gunning for the SSO Championship, and
2) to provide some fun, open drifting at night for those others that might not be taking part in the actual SSO.

DRIFT CHALLENGE (Championship Round)
Date: 22 June 2005
Time: 730pm till 10pm
Venue: 1 Utama Carpark
Entry Fee: RM 100.00 limited to RWD rides only.
Sign-up on the R3 community, download the Registration From here, and attend the payment at Sunway Extreme Park Cafe Saturday 4 June 2005.

TIME ATTACK CHALLENGE (Championship Round)
Date: 26 June 2005
Time: 9am till 1pm (JGTC starts 2pm)
Venue: PA3 Carpark Sepang Circuit ( Same as SSO 4 DEC 04)
Entry Fee:
RM 100.00 limited to 60 entrants only.
RM 60.00 per Team for BSD Team Trophy
Sign-up on the R3 community, download the Registration From here, and attend the payment at Sunway Extreme Park Cafe Saturday 4 June 2005.

For more info please contact Tengku Djan at +6012 203 2238 or Adian at +6012 688 1200

The timing for the 26th June event is kinda close to the start of the Japan GT.

Still can't decide yet. Afraid if the SSO 2.5 got delay, then might miss the Japan GT.

Sigh...

I've been to the JGTC for the past 3 years i think. In my honest opinion, comparing sitting and watching the JGTC and driving in your own competition, surely i pick the latter. Nothing like preparing for your own competition, summore got addition of the r3 speedchics ( ;) hope they turn up). Moreover, even if I missed the start of the JGTC, i wouldn't be missing it too much. There's still the majority of the crowd that follows those jap gurls wherever they go. I'd say my attraction for the JGTC is 50% to the cars and 50% to the jap grid gurls. Sometimes u kinda wonder in awe about the cars, but most ppl wonder more about how far those racequeens' legs could go :D ... endless.

Just thinking out loud for the same kind out there. But anyway, i'm sure there are others who think differently.

you sure the ratio is only 50 cars, and 50 girls ah? hahah.

usually its more like 98% girls, 2% cars.. ;)

anyways.. will definitely see you guys there on the 22nd, as well as the 26th.
