Depends on the rim..

A guy here once had issues with caliper clearance on a 5-lug 16" Advan RG with 40ish offset.

It's not due to the outer edges, but rather the hub design, where the spokes meet, that are thick, so could not clear the calipers properly. His other set of TE37 with similar offset did not have such issues.

So it depends on the wheel design as well. thick spokes and too little offset could pose a problem with spoon calipers.

Newbie Question

at least offset 38
When u say "at least" 38mm offset - does that more than 38mm i.e 15 x 6.5 +40mm

or lower than 38mm offset (i.e. 15 x 6.5 +35mm offset).

I thought the lower the offset the more the wheel will "stick out from the body" and therefore there will be more clearance for the bigger caliper.

Better check fitment. U can use a spacer but with Big rims and the slammed look u may get fender rub = solution : New Rims..

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

Dear All Sifu,

Recently just got a Mirage Digital Controller from my cousin. But just can't find a write place to mod into my Wira.

Is anyone know that how to DIY this controller into Wira?

I only have the front panel that's all. I heard my friend say that, still need a motor only able to fully utilize the aircon controller. Is that easy to get? Any idea what's the cost? I'm currently at Johor, Senai. Will be back to KL tomorrow.

Thank You. :D
