TermiziYeoh. I just got my 2001 for 35k, a 2000 model would be in the low 30s. Used car dealers would take it for way below 30k. It is not as important to know a person in kurnia, rather an adjustor or someone in proton who will do your restoration. If it's not damaged, I have no doubt the could replace every part, afterall, they are common. You could work in some R3 parts too, you have to judge if it'll ever still be the same to you.
If they totaled it, it also depends on how much they are willing to pay you for it. If the amount is 25k, then you might as well have them fix it and sell it even for 2k more, u r still the winner.
You need to work it out with the adjustor, you should have new parts quoted. Where are u going to find second hand GTi stuff? Unless it's stolen from another one of your friend's cars HAHAHAHA
