hi there

i need some advise on some turbo matters...currently i own a toyota aristo jzs161 that comes with a 2jzgte vvti engine...recently the turbos are leaking...so i am now contemplating to rebuilt the stock turbos or to purchase a single turbo GT3037 AR60 (as recommended by the shop).

current mods
hks fmic, bov, evc6, fcon vpro 3.3, oil cooler and transmission cooler, removal of cat with 3 inch exhaust with tanabe g-fordan exhaust and gruppe m air filter...running 1 bar boost

ideally i would like to maintain on engine 450-500 hp with emphasis on drivability(no or very minimal lag) and reliability (4 speed auto box)

may i know what single turbo would you recommend and what are add ons that i may need such as exhaust manifold, wastegate, walbro fuel pump, fuel regulator, fuel rail, fuel injectors ?? anymore that i may missed out?

finally...how much would it cost me and recommended shops?? :) thanks for your time..

Twin turbo is better for drivibility..

small turbo for low rpm..

big turbo for high rpm..

peace .. out..

Bro, recently i am doing this project as well Unfortunately, it is costly to fix single turbo, so i am still considering.... anyway, it is easy to get 350-400hp on wheel from 2jz. So if you want it to be drivable daily, rebuild your turbos, check hoses (any leaking), and add racing fuel pump (walbro or sard)
