Hi All ZTHians ,

I saw this ad in this month Hypertune advertising this new addition to Q8 range of products. The ad stated that this Q8 'G ' Long life engine oil can go up to 30,000 km before the next oil change . Anyone have tried this before ? Perhaps you can share your experience using this engine oil and what is the retail price like ?

Thank you all.

Was wondering if its that good then might be worthwhile using ..but of course most mechanics would suggest 5000km oil change interval as they said its supposed to keep the engine cleaner .....

i think the reason mechanics advise u to change the engine oil at 5K or 10K interval is not merely for their earning but it is because your oil filter is only 'good' for 5K. More than that the it can't filter efficiently.
Somebody told me this before...i can't remember who.
