I used duragloss nano glass coat. I bought it for my car paint actually but well heck why not try it on headlamp also. On car body it lasted for around 10 months (with spray wax topping every week) then the roof coating gave way first then followed by the hood and side mirrors then the doors. Coating on fender and door lasted for almost a year
Use hard coating type la. 1 year with that much maintenance is really short. I never bothered with my Myvi when Kenneth and it lasted 5! Well, it wasn't completely clear and went a bit yellowish but didn't blur up.

Hard coating is expensive....one small bottle cost around RM300-400 ...FYI Cv is my first name, kit is my last name. And my middle name is Miskin. Cv-miskin-kit

Oh those clear coat for wood to make it shiny and water resistant is it? Those that you normally apply to wood using a brush?
Use a lintless cloth to apply. 1:1 mixture with mineral spirits. However, the weather plays a part too. If weather is damn hot then apply thinner mixture. If cold weather then 1:1 is ok

Thinner means more spirit? Will protection will be thinner also?

Thanks to ZerotoHundred, I had the opportunity to participate in VW's media launch of three new models. You've probably seen the teasers in the newspapers already; the new models are the 1.8TSI Passat (RM184,888), 1.4TSI Cross Touran (RM166,888), and the 1.4TSI Jetta (RM149,888).

Whilst all three carry the TSI badge, only the Cross Touran and Jetta are twin-charged models. The Passat comes as a 1.8 turbo...
