other than rims, bumper lining and ATF cooler, i dont really know. huhu..

Does any1 heard abt enhance 2 & 3 has issues compares to the earliers model ?...

It seems some of the earlier models selling more expensive than the later models.

IINM Nothing much change between those model except:

-sei to v6
-bodykit and interior change
-added atf cooler
-tune by lotus.

Common issue on perdana is(based on cakap2 in workshop and other user):
-gbox
-alternator
-burnt gasket

but alternator and burnt gasket imo more on owner did not maintain it well. Myself have no issue except gearbox, change to manual and no issue and power window unit finally give in after 16 years.

price wise, the later should be expensive, unless the earlier version is not bone stock.

Alternator, yes. terrible.. I change 3 units.. now using 95a, still ok
Burnt gasket, my friend V6 also experience this.. full tank water, gone in few days..

Power window unit, terrible..
can go down but cannot go up..

basically its the gbox. but after installing ATF cooler. should be ok.
the gbox like i always said, its just the clutches have worn out.
but if no ATF cooler, the ATF may get too hot and damage the valvebody.
forgetting to service the gbox and changing both ATF and ATF filter may cause problems too.
ATF gone bad and dirty.

alternator no problem for me.

head gasket yes, after maybe 150K km, it starts to leak water or oil.

tappet sounding louder as the older the car gets.

power window no problem. only now (after 15 years), it starts giving me problem (on the driver side) coz always using it.

Wah! 15years only power window spoilt, Wira one by year 8 change 3 times, and even rear manual wind mechanism change once....

yup..remembered when naik USM perdana. quiet and smooth.

more or less the same..i just change EO from castrol magnetic semi to shell semi..poof, no more tappet.

if i'm honest, its even worse. the hydraulic lifter sounded even louder. haha..
maybe can find newer generation or aftermarket lifter with larger holes.

my 4G63T's lifter used to sound loud.
after using HDEO, sound lessen a bit.
but now after i changed the lifter to aftermarket ones with larger holes, bunyi tiada lagi. hahaha

the rest should be all the same

Does any 1 know whr2 find.dextron 6 atf gear oil....it seems can withstand heat ....its been release in U.S bak in 2006....good for those v6 n v8 in U.S....

IMHO every ATF can withstand heat. how high is the difference.
also, is Dexron 6 suitable for Mitsu gbox?
Mitsubishi specified Diaqueen SP3 as the ATF to use.

Agree, D6 is not suitable for Mitsubishi! U try then wish u good luck

Currently using stock ecu with safc.. with stock ecu cms the prob of speed limit.. any idea what to do..
