oil press running 8 bars

testing ....... anyway when i idle my oil press shows 8 bars ,....... issit a bit too high ?

what's the mods list ? i think yes..too high. might damage the injector..and u also might have rich situation..get a wide band tune for accurate measurement

80 in Hg (Kg/m^2) would be more reasonable.. that's 39.3 PSI..

its ur oil press rite ? not fuel pressure.. errm.. y does injector come to the topic .. not to fire.. im a newbie , just curios.
mine runs till 80psi at high revs , idle its about 20psi ..
1bar = 14.5psi

i think "oil pressure" = "fuel pressure" in his first post. In that case, fuel injectors will stop functioning at that pressure due the extremely high duty cycle.

oh so high rev will reach 8 bars la ......... do u think a dead trottle body is the key to this sickness ? cuz mine keeps on staying at 8 bars when high rev ....it goes 9 bars ........ lowers drops to 4 bars ..........

Heh hehe ... Seems to be a little confusion between PSI and Bar.

Anyway, 80psi for oil press at high rev is pretty normal but not 8bar!! which is 116psi. Normal oil press should be around 1.5 to 2 bar at idle and 4.5 to 5 bar a cruise and 6 to 6.5 bar at full blast. Assuming that the engine is at running temp and good condition.

Oil pressure depends on the condition of the engine, mods done, oil used, engine temp and yadda yadda.. for example, at start up in the morning you'll always get a higher pressure due to a cold engine and oil.
