Need HELP From MLOCian...

hello MLOCian...

firstly, thanks for taking the time to go thru my topic here. i got a few questions that i think u guys could help me with. last year i was involve in an excident and totally scrap my car big time. now im just driving around my family 'spare' car. i think its about time i purchase a car that i could call my own. im intrested in a converted evo 6 that is for sale near my place in JB. its a lancer CK2A that is fully converted to evo 6 interior and also exterior wise. but the main question that been playing in my head for months now, is the 2WD convertion to 4WD could pass the JPJ/PUSPAKOM inspection?. if possibble i want to own a car that doesnt broke any law because i dont want to be pullover by the 'authority' for driving an unsafe or u might say a 'scrap' car (because of the cut here and cut there). so... the question now is 'can the 4WD conversion be pass with ease or it cannot pass at all?'. i have no idea whatsoever on this matter because someone told me it cant be done, but someone else say it can be done. only need to apply for the approve letter like u would apply when u install a sunroof/moonroof in your car. iskkk!!!... pening lor... help me please... i cant wait to step on the pedal again and feel the rush (g-force) one more time like i use to before... im so tired of driving a standard stock car rite now. last but not least a whole bunch of thanks to you guys for your help and kindness... :confused_smile: :_: :confused_smile: :_:

not mistaken it cannot be approve by JPJ by converting 2wd to 4wd. You might want to think abt this chasis is meant for 2wd and ian't for 4wd.Try look for CM2A version with ori 4wd better. Else get a ori evolution is the greatest. Well just my opinion. ; )

Which car are you referring to? Me from JB also.
Of course its illegal. Like sounstream said if you dont want headache or feel afraid just get a CM2A or CM5A converted or ori evo.

On the other hand if you will be using only in JB then it wont be a problem lah.
A few members and non member of JB MLOC also driving CK model converted to evo's. Some are driving for more than 5 years without a problem.

ello there. thanks for the feedback. i already look for a CM2A casis but cant be found yet. as u are from JB also u might be very familiar with the white converted evo 6 that is for sale at kebun teh, the registration plate is JFU 590* (if not mistaken). i think u know which car i am refering too. i already go to take a close look at the car. the interior and exterior look pretty nice. the engine doesnt look like it have any major problems. just havent test drive it yet. what about u, what model are u driving now? and what colour/registration plate is ur car? maybe ive bump into u a couple of time before... who knows ehhh...:_:

Alfred bro....This car JFU 590* is Ah Boy's fren car...Previous owner is staying in Tmn Rinting...The reason of selling is the owner is getting married & change to a more decent car...That's the info given to me....
