I've been throwing around the idea of possibly competing in next years MMER at Sepang. I want to use an S8 RX7 (S6 or S7 if its allowable) as my platform. I had a look at the regulations and its quite vague in regards to the RX7 but it is eligible.
I'm after your help in regards to regulations regarding the RX7. I have read that engine modifications are free providing the standard inlet manifold is retained. Max power I think is 400hp (i think at the engine). Dont know about turbo regs though. Can anyone clarify this?
I plan on building the car and motors, gearboxes, diffs, etc here in Australia and ship it over by around June next year for testing at Sepang. Are there any reliable tuners for rotaries in Malaysia?
