i guess comparing the tyres with the piston is a analogy, he said it's not feasible to use full slick tyres on daily road use, same like the forged piston in his case, its not feasible for "long term daily use".

no harm using forge piston in ur engine if u can afford to buy the piston mar.
wont harm the engine also. but forge piston is sure expensive than normal piston. maybe the mech means it is not worth to put a forge piston in ur engine for daily drive.

With request from bro. Danz, I just post a DIY job I did to connect an additional water tank and pump to get water up to my roof tank.
Short story. I am staying in Old part of PJ and the Mains (water pipes) are pretty old and rusty. A few years a go I had fitted a rocket filter to filter the water as the incoming water was milky and dirty. I still remember when the rocket was fitted the pressure shown was at around 25 to 30psi. As years went by, after a burst pipe some where in the area...
