I'm talking about aftermarket suspension parts..can you suggest some ideas or opinions...
i'm currently using stock absorber with aftermarket spring. the prob is that the ride is to low till cant get through most speed bumps..

Depends on your budget. But my advice: always allocate another 30 to 40% for additional suspension supporting upgrades.

if you're on a budget ......... go for those local stuff , GAB, etc.

if you're packing the green. then go for this :

Bulletproof Automotive

Ride height adjustable ..... from the cockpit. Jesus.

vagabond: budget is most likely +/- 5k.. and where to source for the aragosta system? direct import or what? how about other brand such as tanabe, tein, etc.....? any comment on those? tein offers super street for 5k for my dc5. i don't its worth it. there is tanabe sustec gf if not mistaken going for 3.8K but only height adjustable. damn confused with this things...

I've always wanted to try the Tanabe Sustec Pro 7 for the DC5 ......... I'm not sure on the pricing though, I heard Tanabe recently has an authorised dealer in Sunway area.

Tein's super street, i suspect, is too soft for hard cornering. I don't think there's much improvement over the stock suspensions which are already pretty stiff, only benefit the super street has is height adjustable (but it affects the spring rate, it's not individually adjustable)

Tanabe and Tein has many similarities for entry level suspensions.
both damping rates are electronically adjustable ,
Tein = EDFC
Tanabe = TEAS

if you're on a tight budget , why don't you check out GAB? It's made locally, so should be cheaper.

but always keep in mind, you get what you pay for. better stuff always commands a premium price.

Bro, with your 5K budget, don't even think of Aragosta. They are double your budget unless you looking for used set.

For quality shocks, i have always like Ohlins :biggrin: . Price is not cheap (about 10k) but you will never regret it. They are superb and easy to setup.

If you just want something better than stock, not too hard and don't want the hassle of suspension tuning then something like the Mugen Sport Suspension or Spoon Sport Suspension. These are about RM4000-5000.

My experienced last time using Mugen Street Sport Suspension for my EP3,i can say the ride feeling is just RIGHT.Not too hard & not too soft.Is suitable for our roads.Bumps?No prob.Just pricey a bit.I'll gif it a 7 out of 10 :proud:

My bro DC5 last time using Tein Super Street + EDFC.Tested myself.I can say tis set up was quite good u know.Just set the buttons up & down for both side,u can hav the ride u want.Either hard or soft.Comfort at ur fingertips.Gif it 8.5 out of 10 :top:

Lookin for Tanabe dealer??Call Amoil Motorsports/JC Asia Motorsport Mr.Jacky at 03-56338529 in Sunway.
