Yup, for daily can use right up to Max performance that is next highest after UHP. After Max will be extreme, which for me will be better for track rather than daily.....

Yup, the main concerns with using extreme category tires for daily use are:
  1. Aquaplaning resistance and wet performance in general is not good anymore. This is the biggest issue as it's about safety.
  2. Durability (low tread wear rating)
  3. Harsh ride quality.
  4. Noise.

But the tire changed before, if not mistaken should be either 215/45/17 or 215/50/17.
Next change upgrade to 225/45/17.:driver:
225/45/17 is too small for Mark X, your car will be lower by over 1 cm and the fender gap also increased by the same. Should use 225/50/17 like mine now. Minimum is 215/50/17 which I used last time but 225/50/17 is better. Even better if you use 17x8.5jj rims or at least 17x8jj, and then use 245/45/17.

215/45R17 is too small, even 225/45R17. Have to be 215/55R17 or 225/50R17....

But 215/55R17 is standard Camry tyre size woh! My friend using.....:smokin:
Yes but 215/55/17 is slightly bigger compared to std Mark X size while the 215 foot print is just a bit too narrow for Mark X. Additionally the sidewall looks too thick so not nice and handling is already too soft/a bit wobbly.
225/50/17 is just nice while 245/45 is a bit smaller in diameter but the wide foot print is very good for grip, and looks good on lowered cars.

Yes of course, 225/45/18 or 235/45/18 front on 18x8jj and 255/40/18 rear on 18x9jj is perfect. But you'd need lightweight rims to keep the weight down.

I use to have 225/40/18 but this V12 Evo2 i took 235/40/18.....Is even nicer....Looks bigger too although same profile....:driver::driver:
235/40 is of course bigger, coz the sidewall is really taller/thicker:
225/40 = 22.5cm x 40% = 9 cm
235/40= 23.5cm x 40% = 9.4 cm
Profile is just aspect ratio to the width, not an absolute fixed number.

Halo all sifu-sifu here ! Just one question. What's the maximum thickness of rim spacer can a wira studs take (don't consider the tire width)? 5mm? 10mm?

Thanks :)
