Stock engine have stock regulator, adding one that is adjustable is for tuning. If you have mod your car then you add, if not stock should be good enough....wats the different with or without the fuel regulator in stock engine? :hmmmm:
I've done some minor mods :Stock engine have stock regulator, adding one that is adjustable is for tuning. If you have mod your car then you add, if not stock should be good enough....
1, 3, 4, 5 no need. 2 not sure how high your cam, but regulator may help....I've done some minor mods :
1. Drop in filter
2. Ev0 7 cam
3. BOV
4. Walbro Pump
5. Spark plugs
So do i need to add the adjustable regulator?
I also not very sure le.....let me check with Ah Wah... tats for your info bro1, 3, 4, 5 no need. 2 not sure how high your cam, but regulator may help....
Ya lo....must check with him le.... if its not necessary then i can save money for other things d...Better check with Ah Wah... cos by yr mod list now, you don't really need it. It's more of 'nice to have' rather than 'must have'.
Agree with Bro. stutzedward. Last time go to this shop they say put fuel regulator good for turbo. After fitted I don't feel any difference but was shocked fuel consumption went up. One tank lost 50km so after a while I had it removed.....Ya lo....must check with him le.... if its not necessary then i can save money for other things d...
Mine originally already TD-05, so is stock standard with no other mod. They adjust to 3 bar, I tried 3.5 and even back to 2 and 2.5 bar, but fuel consumption still bad. Take out use back OEM, fuel consumption back to previous normal.....hahhahaMaybe the pressure was set too high bro, that's why higher FC.
I had mine installed when I chg to TD05. Worrying that it may run too lean before I had dyno tune done, so it was necessary. :)
Nope, my ECU cannot be reflashed. My original one was the 200bhp model. It failed and I got a chop shop 220bhp one which was interchangeable between the 200 and 220bhp model. The RS 240bhp model cannot be used in my model.Maybe your ECU had been reflashed before... if the setting is rich on ECU, a tad higher pressure than stock for the regulator will eat you more fuel. By the way, what is your FC? Mine is about 5.5-6.5km/L in city.
