is it true that this type of car cvt gearbox can maintain the engine speed at 7000++RPM accelerating from 0 kmh - top speed with the Sport mode (full throttle) ? anybody have experience?

yes it maintains at 7k rpm wot while accelerating. this civic is using cvt gearbox so essentially it is not running on gears but by belting.
