Hi all.
Im doing a survey regarding Final Drive (FD) for this extreme modders.
So, how many are you belongs to this group?

are you currently satisfy with your FD in your gearbox?
if not, you have to compensate using bigger rim & tyres to get traction in order to drag your car, right?

20v: C52 and C56 gearbox - FD 4.312
16v: C52 gearbox - FD 4.312
4E C52 and C56 - both FD 3.722

for both setup, levin/trueno and starlets, TRD produced FD 3.632 ([SIZE=-1]41201-AE011) but discontinued.

why trd produced this kind of FD? the target user will be those who cannot lunch properly using 1st, 2nd and even 3rd gear.
solution, small FD will give 1st and 2nd gear longer.

4.733 is TRD for pickup
4.312 is normal 20v
3.722 is normal for 4E
3.632 is TRD for top-speed

give your opinion guys.

why japanese equipped gearbox with FD 3.526
the gearing 1 until 5 is normal for 20v and 4e.

Smaller the number use more power 2 move, but better fuel eco on highway, high gear at low rpm = more top speed.
The higher the number use less power 2 move, but fuel eco will increase, high gear at mid rpm = more power.
So smaller FD number suit 4 powerful car like turbo. Bigger FD number 4 more power n pickup like drag.

Just sharing, dun shoot me. Correct me if i'm wrong.
