except 4age?? how come???
Yes... you are right...
I go to buy Toyota Original Part oil filter... There is Toyota oil filter is not design for 4AGE, 4AGZE, and 3SGTE....

That means it is used for 4AF, 4A and such excluding 4AGE. I think it has something to do with the flow of oil.
Yes.. correct too...But It very important?

the ''4A-G series'' means 4AGE also included..

There is another version, slightly bigger than this picture. Written 4AGE compatible and for 3SGE too. I take picture on my next service. I notice this filter too, and discontinue using it. Compare to the filter that i'm using (original Toyota), it has a difference 0.2 bar oil pressure once you do the swap.

Dude, already stated not compatible for 4AG (including 4AGE, 4AGZE and 4AGE 20V). You can still fit it though, but suspect oil press will drop (more noticeable during VVT activation) and insufficient oil filtration.
Physically, the E1 is smaller and E2 is bigger. Price wise not much difference, maybe cost RM2-3 more only.

Just my 2 cents...

This is correct oil filter for 20V:
90915-YZZC6
90915-YZZE2
C6 is using sponge like filter element while E2 is using paper. Could be due to different filter element, E2 is slight taller than C6.
If using a wrong oil filter, perhaps the VVT pulley will die earlier (produce "clack clack" diesel sound)??

Different pressure needed to push the oil. I see. Flow design is also what comes to mind. Unless someone can buy one and cut it open sideways, then we can see the difference. But since the packaging already stated so, i think it is wise to follow it.

There’s no doubt about it, The Jungle Book is one of those stories that is just simply timeless. It has everything you could possibly want: lovable characters, singable songs, and a dancing primate. But who knew that a bunch of jungle animals and a man-cub named Mowgli would teach us so many life lessons? Not us. But lessons we did learn. Ones like these:
