Import drag racing fans worldwide will be glad to learn that Reece McGregor's Heat Treatment GT-R will finally get to square off against HKS' R33 Drag GT-R. The pair will meet at Import All-Star at Lakeside International Dragway in Taupo,New Zealand on February 17 2007,It's long been Reece's aim to race the HKS car and now,since Heat Treatment hold the record,the japanese super tuner is coming to the party. The HKS R33, whichhasn't been run for a few years, has recently undergone a little work. It was then shipped to thailand for an HKS drag meeting where it proceeded to run low eight-second passes-a little off it's best ET of 7.67 . At this stage, it looks like there will be no changes made to either vehicle for the event. We'll have a whole lot more info for you on this event..stay tuned*
