dear Fs strader,
my carb DCNF 36.. When starting up early in the morning.. Really hard to start.. Start di then it dies off. After several starts and cranks only can start.. Another alternative to this would be if i press the throttle when i crank the engine ,then it can start but with very low RPM. Jerking.. But after a while RPM is back to normal..

What is the problem????? can u help me please?? Could it be the tuning?? if yes.. then i would wanna look for u di..

changed to new carb wont solve all your problems cos it will still be coming back.

fstrader,

I have changed the jetting be4 already.. changed to bigger ones. Retune the carbs but still this problem persist. After starting up , warming up. within 4 hours, my car could be started with just 1 crank. Easy start. However after that time limit, my car is back to square 1 again. hard to start. Would it be because of my fuel pump is faulty?? I am not really sure about this. Please help me diagnose

hey uncle fred, perhaps u still remember me ya. Im the wira 1.5 owner who r still using stock carburator:) well, after sifu fred tune my carburator the cold engine hesitation disappear. So happy bout that, but now this engine is hard to start while Hot after stopping for around 20 minutes. T_T

It takes around 15 crank to start and after get started the idling speed is VERY LOW about 500 rpm. It takes around 30 seconds to go up to 800 rpm...

uncle fred, is it the carburator flooding after been sitting for 20 minutes from running on the operating temperature?

Oya, dear all forumers who own carburator for 4g91, do u experience engine die off from off idling?

well, my brother's car experience this problem occasionly. i checked the accelerator pump and it is working.

Sifu-sifu, is it related to the electronic wiring again as sifu fred mentioned?
thanks for any feed back..

i just curious...this is my 2cent idea....
if u notice that in the market...small strobe light...usually people connect it to the brake light...then it goes blink2...
wut im trying to do is, connect it to the small light infront....then put a switch....open it la...not with the blue casing la.......
so, put it facing the light chrome....then it will reflect better....
any cfu's can give me comment about my 2cent ideas?
then we no need to buy the expensive one...but surely the expensive...
