OK here it goes....I'm not sure how a proper interior shot should be...both pictures are PPed on the black and brightness as I need to blacken all the things outside of the windscreen...

1. f4.5 1/20sec exposure, ISO100 with speed lite reflected from roof. I'm using a full manual speedlite brand YONGNUO..I bought it less then 200...so I can say the flash power was set at 80% according to the LED light display.

2. f4.5 1/10sec exposure, ISO100 with speed lite reflected from roof but at 45 degrees.

Izso, I didn't change any of the colours on PP...just black out the things outside the windscreen...colour is the same as the unedited pictures...

titan rev,

those shots looks good to me.

you said that you have pp-ed everything out of the window to be black but i can still see dots in the pics. be careful with that. i think your screen need to be calibrated.

other than that, for interior shots, wider is better i guess. unless its a detailed interior shots like gear knob, meters and other details.

cheers

Z34, thanks for the tips and pointers.

Yeah, the dots I will improve on that....thanks man...

About the calibration thing. I'm a unsure what you mean by that..

Do you have any suggestion for a wider shot like a guide...say If I want to have a full front interior shot. The frame should include the A pillar from left to right?

screen calibration is to ensure the colours displayed on your screen are true and natural.
Right now my crappy screen isn't calibrated and can't seem to be calibrated so whatever I edit on my screen will look different (in terms of gamma, colour, contrast, brightness, etc) on a properly calibrated screen.

Lens used in car photography also plays important role...wide angle lens are much prefered when taking still shots...saw most of z34 pics were using wide angle lens right?
