Anyone know wat the best petrol to use for turbo in terms of performance, consumption n wat's good for the engine?

Would like the know the pros n cons of using high octane petrol (v-power/synergy) vs premium unleaded.

I read somewhere that Japanese engines are tuned to run on 100 Octane petrol.

Any tips n thoughts about Octane boosters (Afterburn, etc.) and Add in lubes (TufOil) will also be appreciated..

Cheers...

Rakuen

Any fuel will do lah.. personally i think Petronas gives the best mileage, but Projet's fuels somehow 'feel' better. that's just my personal opinion, of course.

Did some fuel tests on my car earlier.

On V power which I always thought to be the best, it knocks like hell.. anytime any day. Can never give it full throttle on the highway when speeding.

Switch to Petronas, its a lot better but on certain petrol stations, dunno if its the fuel quality or mixed of some sort, it knocks but generally its ok. Power is pretty good.

Lately I have tried BP 97 and turn out to have the best anti knock properties, tried 4 different petrol stations and each has repeated results. Engine doesn't knock at all but one drawback, the fuel makes the car slightly lazy in response but this is good for turbo cars. Least its safe.

Tried Caltex and Esso, knocks as well. Still a bit better than the V power.

On why my car knocks easily, fuel pump is undersized and cannot supply enough fuel for a safe air/fuel ratio. So its hypersensitive. :(

yeah man... damn mah fan rite? Have to go INSIDE da store to sign wan... freakin' mahfan! And if wanna pump full tank, walk into the shop say "PENUH!" walk back to car... pump, walk back into the shop again to sign card. And if u bad luck, ur credit card company server break down or something "sorry sir, your card rejected lah"... then u had better pray u have extra cash in your wallet, or another credit card. Or else... wonder what will happen ah? Ask them to suck back out the petrol ar??
