each engines got different advantages..

as for GSR it is newer and parts easily found cus it is mitsu though im not veri sure bout mazda stuff..

as for B8 , the 210 engines is the best so far, ball bearing turbine and strong internals compare to GSR..as for B6 & B8 (180) i dun find it nice, firstly kind a old engine and i guess the durability is not ther anymore i guess..

i heard sum GSRs using Mazdas internals cus it is strong, so my guess wuld be around the same..

jus my 2 cents
 
Mazda engines are tough little buggers. Mitsu parts are easy to find, but getting Mazda parts isn't a problem either, if u know where to look.
 
lastime before getting mitsus engine i was opting fr B8 (210) Interplay, but later after surveying, price kinda pricey and engine kinda old so opt for mitsus wherby im a satisfied owner of it now..ehhe..
btw B8 engine is veri powerful engine indeed..wif the ball bearing turbine and strong internals..
 
B8..no questions asked :) Really potent and powerful engine even in stock form. If modded one lagi kawkaw :)

thats y cause i read @ terato some say b8 better than gsr hmmm

if both factory car, B8 was setup with bigger turbo than stock GSR have.

i have see a stock GSR on satria
just upgrade a turbo only, ( forget what turbo but i remember other car OEM turbo)
retain stock internal and upgrade to EVO injector only
ECU also stock. no SAFC
wollap a B8 210 on Laser TX3

this show how potent a GSR as well with small mod

my fren say yesterday or sabtu cant remember got xcdent between
mazda interplay n satria both turbo ...interplay terbelah 2 :o duno if the driver save :( the interplay hit the tiang lampu n tumbang on the highway there hmmm

I said B8 210 lo
That B8 210 have the bigger turbo advantage that GSR
so if owner upgrade the turbo same with B8 210
mean it can play around liow
just the skill is the factor of the winner

both engine is good if the tuner know how to tune and utilise it

as well spare part B8 210 part is like EVO part
the 210 turbo + manifold can cost up to 1500 anytime
 
b8 ok...and gsr also ok but u mention first what spec of gsr.....7377 or 5663 with raliart chip.if u are the 5663(come with raliart chip)i dont think the b8 can bit the gsr....gsr quit fast.

jus upgrade turbo can wollap b8210... this is cool man...

i really wish to see the GSR on satria.. :o
