Hi All Honda Bro here:proud:

i just bought a vafc for my eg b16a auto using p30 ecu.
after i install the vafc the check light keep on:hmmmm: and the ideling not stable keep up down up down:mad:
than i open up my p30 ecu saw 1 capacitor leaking.
the big capacitor leaking:bawling:so i replace the same value capacitor back but not the same brand:biggrin:
than plug it back,still the same:mad:
(one quick question do i need to change all the capacitor in the ecu????):hmmmm:


any bro encounter this kind of problem?

i try to connected back to the ori wiring without vafc also the same.....:bawling:
any sifuuu idea?

wats the error code that appears? best to bring to a VTEC specialist to have it checked out.

how to check error code on p30???can diy check ourself???
worth to repair???
my friends borrow me a p28 rechiped ecu to troubleshoot i reconnected back the vafc everythings back to normal i can feel that the engine more fast respond than initially:driver: and can feel the power more GANAS:biggrin:
btw hw much the p28 rechiped ecu in the market????my friends ask me to offer him hehehe no idea to offer him any bro here know the market price 4 it:hmmmm:

dunno the price...but u can google for DIY guides on checking the error codes...

the error codes can also be found by googling.

just receive a pm from another bro...he advice me to change all the cap 1st than try it again....btw thanks to the bro who pm & advice me :proud:
will try to change all the cap 1st....i do some googling p28 origin is for sohc,p30 is for dohc so which one is more better??

you should check what code is the CEL, then check that sensor or component before touching the ECU. Or it might be wiring problem when you install the VAFC.
To check CEL, take out glove box, and you will find a green rubber casing wrapping 2 sockets.
Find the socket with 2 pin, connect them together with a paper clip. Turn the ignition to Acc On, and count the blinks...
