my MR2's (n/a 1990) alternator was faulty and then got replaced by a recon one
the prob is the alternator got fried and smoke can be seen
anyone got any ideas whats wrong?:hmmmm:
does anyone have an alternator for MR2 1990 n/a (used or new) and keen to sell it to me?
on my way back home, i realised the car is underpowered (rpm can hardly goes to 3k and only stuck at 2krpm even tho it is full burst) and i heard an high pitch frequency. does that come from the replacement alternator that doesnt comply with the MR2 specs?
during the replacement the workshop guy pull a tiny weeny hose (right if you are facing mr2 and it is near to the diagnosis connector, engine is 3SGE) using a plier, it is okay?
really hope you guys here can help me
thanks
