Flange bolts, also known as lift bolts, is for the Lift to engage during 6,000 RPM just like Vtec. It is a wear and tear parts and not expensive anyway for the replacement parts. Just the labor which varies from workshop to workshop.

expensive setup coz requires standalone ecu that must be able to control VVT-i and Lifts...
very hard to find anybody successfully use ITB with 2ZZ-ge...:hmmmm:

yup... AFM or MAF...:hmmmm:
attached pics show it, and a good way to mod them for open pod SRI or CAI...:burnout:
even the diameter you need to maintain especially after it..
going bigger would need piggyback to refine the AFR...

newcelica.org call this as 'blue bomber' or something like that...
ohh! this is source from newcelica.org forum btw...:smokin:

the best part with 2zzge is that you don't need too many mods to get the WHP...
some even got back 30whp with just...
- a good CAI
- throttle body --> read that you can bore until 68mm if using stock ecu
- intake manifold --> aftermarket are too expensive, but you can 'match port' them
- exhaust header --> just 'match port' them
- exhaust system --> use 2.5" complete piping

ok on problem wise (remember Lifts bolts is wear&tear)...
- oil pump gear
--> known to be an issue especially going for track or miss gear...
--> aftermarket cost USD400-600+

- valve float
--> depending on your luck, also especially if always in Lifts...
--> aftermarket valve+spring+retainer cost USD1200-1500

i'm still trying to source the above locally...:smokin:

pehhh! convert pun belum siap... dah sembang pasal mod...:banghead:

i think 2zzge 4 throttle can be done..

u need a 4 throttle & also ISCV from 4AGE..

ISCV for idling & 4 throttle for high rpm..

and of coz a standalone ECU

this could be done to any 4 cylinder engine..

my opinion la.. theoretically speaking

I tried asking about the 2zzge swap on AE111 here but the shop owner just said change the engine mount and check the axle.
It seems back on the research.

All I could do now is do some research about the swap. Some shops here don't want to tell everything to you.My plan is to buy everything from Japan or buy a 2zzge used engine from Japan then buy from the U.S the parts I needed. If only their were bolt ons it would be a little easy.
How do you know if the 2zzge came from a celica? Is there a number to know about it. How about the year 2001 until 2005?
Is there a way to know it came from 2001-2005?

Thanks.

bro gearspeedkelvo,
the links i've posted shows a lot already, including the cross member mod but on AE82...
the guy even turbo'ed the 2zzge...:smokin:
you need to try to contact them if you've questions...

for me, my mech are using 3zzfe in AE111 euro model halfcut as sample...
consider lucky coz there's somebody who willing to convert to this (similar power to 4afe)...

They don't answer my question through email.
Since I bought an engine already which is a 2zzge from a Celica GTS . My question is on the engine mount which is the 2zz mount and 1zz(the mount which I know must came from a AE111 U.S version) mount? This is for the AE111 which is LHD here.
On the axle does that mean I have to buy 2 pairs which means 1 for the left and 1 for the right axle of a 1zz from a U.S version AE111 and one left and one right axle 2zz from a celica GTS?
My plan for the OEM is buy everything I need and then the aftermarket parts and ship it.

Which right is it the one on the transmission side of the 2zzge engine?

Does anyone here know the part number of the following?

1zz front
1zz right
1zz left
1zz right

Radiator upper and lower for the 2zzge engine to be installed on an AE111.

Going to order everything and ship it.
This list was given to me by the mechanic here but he doesn't know the part number.

Thanks.
