The highly popular 1,5L Vios has been facelifted for 2021 and is set to arrive with a new sportier face and a range of new safety features. Bookings are now open and will begin now via online and the dealerships. The newly enhanced Vios, with its Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) that includes pre-collision system (PCS) and lane departure alert (LDA) earn it a 5-start ASEAN NCAP safety rating.

PCS:
Activated from 15kmh onwards, it detects cars up ahead and alerts the driver should it detect an impending collision and assists by automatically applying more braking pressure should the driver not apply sufficient force. If the driver doesn't respond, the system will proceed to apply full braking force to try to avoid a collision
LDA:
Works from 50kmh onwards, it alerts drivers during an unintended lane change via visual alert on the multi function display with a beeping sound.
