Any tyres that can pass your testing and inspection deserves a look.Fitting time also not sure mah! Lucky after test was not bad......lol
But I don't really test that much tyres......lolAny tyres that can pass your testing and inspection deserves a look.
Ya, but TS looking for a daily/non-sport purposed one. If he is below 17" i would recommend XM2 which by far gave me very quiet experience.Performance orientated wait for CPC6....
Fleva should be relatively quiet (rated at 67-69db only) but yeah not sure anymore of how good the grip is, some say pretty good some say not so.m a v [3] r i c k;1064694254 said:Thanks for the replies guys.
Basically this will be for my stock daily ride. Not looking to attack corners with it but at least can travel safely on highways 140-160kmh on dry. Car soundproofing is pretty bad, hence the need for quieter tyres.
I've tried PS3 before but it is rather noisy, no doubt grip is good (but soft sidewalls).
Is Goodyear Asy3 quiet? Never heard of a quiet Goodyear tyres.
Is PS4 much quieter than PS3?
Since V551 is bad in rain, I'll skip that.
What's the price like for PS4 or Asy3 size 205/45/17?
He still wants traction in wet leh......hhahahhahYa, but TS looking for a daily/non-sport purposed one. If he is below 17" i would recommend XM2 which by far gave me very quiet experience.
Probably V551 more quiet as the thread pattern very fine and grooves small....lolm a v [3] r i c k;1064694297 said:Will look for PS4 and Asy3 pricing. Using XM2 on a Myvi, sound wise is ok but kinda pricy for a entry level tyre.
Btw between PS3 vs V551, is the sound level really obvious? Michelin Primacy ST vs Yoko dB which is quieter?
He said he wants 205/45/17 wor.Probably V551 more quiet as the thread pattern very fine and grooves small....lol
But before going into all the tyres, set your tyre size first then look for the tyre model. I remember tyre size 205/50R16 some models do not have and 195/50R16 even less choices.... :hmmmm:
Thanks bro. 6UE5t, got mixed up with bro. NeuroOne thread.....lolHe said he wants 205/45/17 wor.
Actually Advan dB is the V551. Others similar range under comfort performance are Michelin P3ST, Toyo C1-S, BS GR-100, GY EfficientGrip, Pirelli Cinturato P7, Conti CPC5, maybe Yoko New AE-50 alsom a v [3] r i c k;1064694345 said:Had experience with Hankook RS2 years back, great grip but started minor cracking after 2 years+ usage. Price should not be a problem as I drive pretty less. Just 20k/year and with tyres rotation, could probably last 4years or so.
Among Advan dB, Primacy ST, V551 (or any other quiet comfortable tyres), which has the better wet traction? Not looking for the best wet traction tyres but should not be worse than Goodyear Excellence.
