Done. (the rename)

There isn't a lot of piggybacks out there for you to choose that can handle 6-cylinder. Personally I'm not a fan of the piggyback only because I've seen what standalone can do and the pricing whilst more expensive, makes it more worthwhile in comparison.
Thanks dude ! Reason i am routing for Piggyback for now is because there were 2 ready for me to install at very fair price. Emanage Blue and Unichip Q. For Unichip Q to perform better, i just need to buy another turbo module. My questions now are:

1.) Which one has more "Know How" people in the market to tune
2.) Which one performs better when i decided to go beyond 350whp
3.) Which one is easily removed so that i can go for standalone, if i have the money

Thanks,
Ken

Stock everything down to stock BOV. I need recirculating BOV setup, otherwise loose power and idles like shit.

The scramble boost will be done only i modified the CT15B with steel fin. The stock ceramic fin is weak.

Thanks
Ken
Why would the BOV affect idle?

1. both Unichip and Emanage have huge support in KL. Both have huge followings.
2. both work. Unichip will need that module. EManage however I'd recommend you go higher end like Ultimate.
3. both will need to splice your original wires so switching to standalone might be messy

Stock 1jzgte VVTI uses recirculated BOV setup. The HKS SSQV that i had is vent to
atmosphere setup, and since i am still using MAF setup, the vented air will cause the engine to run rich.

Maybe you can get hks ssqv adapter to recirculate the air instead get another bov. Got sell.

But during idling the BOV is closed? Do you mean idle immediately after release throttle?

Hi Izso,

I am not interested to switch to standalone, wanted a more plug and play type of solutions. Think i am getting the unichip since i had seen more people reviewed that its good things compared to Emanage. Emanage has notorious reputation of being called E-damage.

Thanks,
Ken

Yes i knew that, therefore later on i will research on ideal positions to mount the SSQV to reduce the use of long hoses.

Thanks,
Ken

Idle immediately after release throttle, there were few times the engine almost stalled upon releasing pressure.

I had that issue once, but I think my mechanic just did some tuning. Still having my BOV vent out....:driver:

You running 1 bar boost, of course you need special tuning hahaha !
No lah, mine stock boost 0.6 only. Got one time vacuum hose came off, boost at 1 plus bar, idling no issue also, but acceleration very shoik......hhahahhahahhaha

I think for auto transmission, recirculating BOV is more suitable due to we don't need to lift off throttle to change gears, we are staying constantly on boost. As for manual, dump valve is more relevant.

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

Dear all sifus,

I've changed my coil packs & plug but problem stills persist. There's a brief moment where the check engine light blinking[knocking?] when i start the car but i shut down the car 1min later and it doesnt lit up anymore when i start the car up again 30mins later.

On the other hand, the ignitor will caused misfiring if it's not tighten with a zip ties.

Could be the ignitor or the stock AFM? That caused the rough idling?

Thanks in advance.
