PS3 made in thailand? I didnt know that.
A lot of reviews on PS3, but not much on Asy 2.
But a friend of mine says Asy 2 is better.

This is because Asy2 only for selected users from 17" and above. Many PS3 reviews are from 15" users, that is why PS3 have more reviews....:driver:

Some even rate Asy 2 to Michelin PSS category....:smokin:

I would go for Asy 2, heard lots of feedback saying when PS3 reach 40% thread left, some bits from the tyres already chipped off...Kinda hard to believe but this is the feedback on PS3 tyres...

I'm using ATR sports and I'm happy with it...price too hahahaha!

I'm using Assy2 now. 215/45/17. Initially when new the grip is quite poor. Will slide when pushed. But after 300km or so, the grip kicks in. It's quite a grippy tyre I must admit. I have a feeling it's better than the PS3 in the wet but dry grip I suspect the PS3 is better.

Based on use in VR this is the best so far, but have not tried PS3.....:smokin:

Some how no lakang with Michelin woh! Expensive also...:smokin:
Ya expensive to try, but I have friend in Klang that can get cheap. Like my 16" only RM360+ for Michelin PS3 instead of others selling at RM420-RM440. My buddy price though.

Chipping is mostly due to driving style. If you like to lean hard on corners then most tires especially those softer UHP ones will also have chipping. Practically all my tires no matter if normal eco tires (for example my Conti CC1) or UHP ones (My F1-D5) got chipping.

XM2 is hard compound leh! Chipping happened on the older XM1 too. By right chipping is on harder compound. Softer compound more likely will melt....:driver:

For me practically all my tires (BS Potenza, Michelin Preceda, Dunlop SP, GT Radial BAX, Conti, GY) got chipped to some degree, some which are the softer ones a bit more like this F1 and the old Preceda, some a bit less but still got. The Conti CC1 on my Livina when I was driving it also got chipped but now after 3 yrs in my wife's hands, the chipping has gone away/smoothed out already.

Probably my driving also not that clean/smooth so I hurt the tires more.

This one must be powersliding all the way. Walaowei.
I also whack corner slide slide a bit but no chipping for NCT 5, duraplus or ATR Sport.
