Too high tire pressure can cause body vibration?

Recently I exchanged cars with my mother for me to use in KL, Proton Wira with 185/60 R14 tires (or maybe its 195/50/R15, not too sure but its either one of these). When driving between 80-90kph, I can feel the car vibrate quite noticably through the pedals and the seat. When I took it to our regular shop, they said its because my tire pressures are too high (32psi).

When they brought it down to 30psi and I tested, the vibrations went away. I know 32psi is quite high (wanna save petrol ) but can too much psi really cause body vibrations? Quite curious to know how it relates...

High pressure in tyre reduce comfort ride, as the tyre too rigid.
Normal recommendation pressure(most of the car) should be around 30-32psi (200~220 kpa), and I don't see any high pressure here.
Normally vibration during high speed cause by few factor,
1. Alignment
2. Camber
3. Tyre Balacing
4. Tyre tread uneven wear
5. Other

80-90 isnt really high speed is it? and Btw above 90kph no vibrations....

32psi is quite normal pressure only, in fact depending on tyre/car type recommended pressure is from 30 to 36psi. Anything over 36psi then can consider a bit on the high side.
Usually high pressure will cause bumpy feeling and should not be vibration.

I'm thinking his rims are dented somehow. Too much pressure and the vibration is too obvious, then reduced pressure, since soft sidewall and lower pressure, vibrations not so obvious? These are pretty high profile tyres (the 185/60/14)

Time to send for alignment and balancing check.

For me it looks like the tyre already have a minor swell @ bengkak. More pressure will makes the swell more obvious.

But he already send for check, and all they did was release some air, 2psi only and that is what I usually increase if use on highway.....:hmmmm:

ya I usually increase 2 psi more than recommended.

heck I'm running 35psi on 165/60/R14 still ok but mine is small car the fish oni maybe that's y.

alignment was done, balancing was done twice, i strongly dont think rim bengkok because the car never went through deep potholes. tires are new and no sidewall bulging.

Well, the smaller the air space the more the air pressure needed to hold the tyre in place.
For example bicycle tyres needs 50psi, my 215/45R17 needs at least 33psi, but my SUV 235/60R16 only need 30psi.....

Tyre don't have expiry date, only have warranty period.
