Changing my satria 1.5 auto to 4G93/4G93P (NA) manual.

People has done this conversion before? Btw, how much did it cost you and what is ur opinion about this upgrade? If there are MIVEC heads reading this, can i get ur opinon or the 4G92 MIVEC manual? I heard that the 4G93/4G93P (NA) is cheaper than the 4G92 MIVEC. So in the price difference, is it cheaper to change to 4G93 and upgrade it to MIVEC than to buy a 4G92 MIVEC? Which is more powerfull and smoother? In terms of value for money and fun wise. And is there any problems with JPJ approval in this upgrade? Appriciate the the opinions guys...

If u wanted for a better fuel consumption but a bit improvement in power, then go for MIVEC. Else go for 4G93P if u wanted more power. In term of price tag, MIVEC tends to be more expensive compare to 4G93P due to its technology in valve timing control.

From my experience, 4G93P tend to produce noise from the tappet movement inside the engine head. Even though u send it to workshop to fix it, the noise can be heard back after a year, depending on how u drive ur car. But this problem won't give any harm to u or even the engine.

For JPJ approval, 4G92 MIVEC is much more easier to be endorsed compared to 4G93P. But I observe that there are many people who used a 'fully-endorsed' 4G93T on the road without any problems. So, if u wanted a 4G93P, it must be easier for u to get endorsement compared to 4G93T.

4g93 better... 4g92 mivec is far more expensive compare to 4g93... almost double the price...
no replacement for displacement... 4g92 parts are complicated and expensive to repair... 4g93 is far more simpler and cheaper to maintain....

The CR-Z is Honda’s take in bringing both hybrid and motorsports closer together, and it is taking an interesting journey so far. With already a thumbs up on the looks, the CR-Z is now slowly leaving its trace on the motoring scene like its participation in Japan’s Super GT race and also on our own 2012 TIMETOATTACK...
