taken out the oil filter

my mech says that the piston has died. i wonder if theres anyone in malaysia that coulf source for a similar part or perhaps refabricate/duplicate it

thanks, i called up the guy in germany, michael ortmann, he has the rubber kits for the pumps, so its not necessary to buy the whole thing lol!

wow...still got the repair kit for the wheel cylinder...yea,ppl will overhaul the wheel cylinder in the old time if it was leak but nowadays ppl just replace it with a new one...

he might drop by in malaysia in january. would be awesome to meet the honda guru and have him help me with the restoration process. he mentioned that, he drives his roadster and coupe on daily basis and its a reliable lil car.

anyways, side note, the car will be repainted like this



i bought this car model, so that my painter could replicate the same color on the car. it is known as the honda racing yellow, as its pretty famous in the honda s800 RSC sports car :D

the "last unknown pump" was the wheel cylinder...the 1st unknown pump was the slave cylinder that located at the gearbox housing...i mistaken it~~~sorry ya....

Wheel cylinder overhaul kit (2 piston seals)
please give size 9/16, 17.4, 19 or 22mm

i guess i have to ask my mechanic to measure them before ordering what i need. the camshafts needs to be properly rebored. i managed to get an advice from an australian friend

As for your pistons you will need to measure the ones you have and send the size to Michael. He will then advise you on the ones you need. It is very important that who ever re-bore the posts, measures each piston to the one hundredth of a millimeter as each one maybe ever so different. then match that piston the the required so its fits each bore.Please do note re-bore each pot and then try and fit the piston. fit the piston to the bore.

i wonder if anyone can make these exhaust pipes. its motorcycle exhaust pipes, so its rather thin.
they are only 1inch and 1.4 in diameter

I must salute you for your dedication and enthusiam in rebuilding this rare baby back to it's original condition. I have gone through the thread and i can sell how much of effort plus $$$ that one can spend in a car that he loves. Keep up the good work and i hope you will get the car on the road soon. Honda rocks!!
