As for legalities, the events in which this car participates REQUIRES that the car be road registered. You just need to add rear seats to fully comply with the grant.

But it still depends on your luck. People get pull over at roadblocks for even having large exhausts and get into trouble for installing open pod filters. So far I've had no problems at roadblocks before. Just bring a copy of your documents at all times.
